I am a Professor of French and the Chair of the Modern Languages department at Hartwick College. Teaching at a liberal arts college allows me to explore many areas of inquiry with my students, including the Digital Humanities and Global Studies.
My current research focuses on early experiments in writing and reading literature with computer technology by the Oulipo, an international group of writers based in Paris.
