In order to build an online exhibit of materials from the Hartwick College Archives, you will need to understand how to work with Omeka. In class on Thursday, October 6, we each created an Omeka site through our ReclaimHosting accounts. Using the online documentation, do the following to create a toy exhibit of anything you want (a hobby, your dorm room, the Commons, your favorite TV show, etc.).
- Add at least three items to your Omeka site
- Build a collection with your three items
- Build an exhibit with your collection
Be sure to save changes frequently!
Finally, when you have created your toy exhibit, write a blog post about it (at least 150 words). Please provide a link to your exhibit so the rest of the class can see it!
